Originally a native of South America, the Pampas Grass is widely considered one of the most striking ornamental grasses available, and it is not hard to understand why.

Planting Advice For Your Pampas Grass
- Grow in fertile, deep, well-drained soil in full sun if possible.
- Cover with a deep dry mulch to protect plants from frost in their first winter.
- Choose your planting position carefully - they require plenty of space due to their size and because of the sharp leaf edges.
- Cut and comb out the last year's flower stems and dead leaves in late winter or early spring; wear gloves as protection from the sharp leaf edges.
