Product Description

Cercis canadensis is a deciduous multi-stemmed ornamental tree grown for its wonderful foliage.

In spring, just before the leaves appear, clusters of small, pea-like flowers open on the bare stems. These are followed by stunning, heart-shaped leaves that grow to 12cm in width.

Cercis will thrive in moist but well drained soil, in sun or partial shade and is drought tolerant, making it very easy to grow for most gardeners. With its almost year round interest from flowers and foliage, it won’t disappoint.

Fully deserving its coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit, you can be sure that this is a proven garden performer, guaranteed to be suitable for UK gardeners at every level of experience. You can therefore plant this in the garden with confidence, for stunning displays for many years to come.

Supplied as an established tree in a 9cm pot, ready to plant and reach a height and spread of 8m in 10 years.
