Our orange and lemon trees have been specially selected for their hardy properties. They will grow quite happily in a cooler climate as long as they're protected from temperatures below -5C. This is a simple case of growing them in pots and bringing them indoors over winter.

Kiwi fruits are surprisingly hardy and can survive outside even in fairly extreme temperatures. Because they are quite vigorous growers, they're a good exotic plant for beginners. Grow them in the sunniest spot you can find and protect with fleece if temperatures drop below -5C.
