Planting Trees is a great way to provide structure and boundaries to a garden. They can also be a magnet to wildlife, creating new habitats for little visitors. Don't be afraid to plant trees as they can be pruned to size, and are slow growing, so will not necessarily take over your garden!
Many deciduous trees are best planted in their dormant period, October to March/April, where they are supplied as "bare roots", lifted fresh from the fields, with no soil on, and cold-stored to keep them dormant. This is the cheapest way by far to plant trees, and is the traditional time and method to get trees established.
We also offer a range of potted trees, for planting in Spring and Summer, including some evergreen and specimen plants too to give more choices, as well as planting accessories to get better results.
