Introduce a fresh dimension to your summer hanging baskets with the pink and white flowering trails of these Lofos. Trumpet-shaped blooms contrast brilliantly against lush green foliage for an incredibly tropical display.
A very fast grower with foliage tending to establish first and then, once the warm summer days arrive in June, the pretty flowers commence, continuing right until first frosts of autumn. Flowering from June to September, these trailing blooms are sure to create a dazzling display!
Supplied as a set of 12 plug plants, ready to plant. Including six each of the following:
- Lofos 'Compact Pink' - Bright pink trumpet-shaped flowers with trailing foliage.
- Lofos 'Compact White' - Long impressive vines with creamy-white blooms.

Top Tips
Your Lophospermum are supplied as jumbo plugs - larger sized plug plants that are slightly more established and can be planted into pots or baskets straight away.
Care Guide
- Initially your Lofos plants should be potted into 7.5-9cm pots using a good quality compost. If planting directly into a basket, allow 3-4 plants for a 12-14in basket, or 6 for a really dense effect.
- Grow on in a greenhouse, conservatory or indoors at a minimum temperature of 15C, moving outside during late May or early June and only when the risk of frost has passed.
- In the early stages keep the plants on the dry side and provide good ventilation as the young plants can be susceptible to the fungal disease.
- Pinch out the growing tip to produce a bushy habit when the plants have reached a height of about 10cm.
- To keep your plants growing vigorously keep the plants well-watered and apply a balanced liquid feed at 10 day intervals.
- Mature plants can be over-wintered in a greenhouse at a minimum temperature of 5C.
